Question 1

What do side 2016 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD FOCUS with side damage, the median was $6,425, from $3,300 to $10,000. That is 52% above the $4,238 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

187 comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,238, spanning $3,150 to $9,200. At $8,900 this one went 110% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FOCUS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD FOCUS's pre-damage retail value at $25,226. It sold for $8,900 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This FORD FOCUS has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FOCUS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 49,612 miles high for a 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 78,329 miles across 187 sales, so at 49,612 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
