Question 1

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This FORD FOCUS has structural and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 68,509 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 63,014 miles across 227 sales, so at 68,509 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this FORD FOCUS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - ST-EUSTACHE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 FORD FOCUS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 FORD FOCUS was listed at IAAI as lot 12313250 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
