Question 1

What does a non-repairable-british columbia mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FOCUS was sold on a non-repairable-british columbia. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

This FORD FOCUS has front and front window damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 103,899 miles high for a 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 78,188 miles across 187 sales, so at 103,899 miles this one sits 33% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1HGCT2B91GA800520?

Accepted Answer

1HGCT2B91GA800520 identifies this specific 2016 FORD FOCUS in white with a 3.5l v6 fi sohc 24v nf4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
