Question 1

This FORD F350 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD F350 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F350 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 145,899 miles high for a 2021 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 102,005 miles across 395 sales, so at 145,899 miles this one sits 43% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1FT8W3BT1MEC12344?

Accepted Answer

1FT8W3BT1MEC12344 identifies this specific 2021 FORD F350, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2021 FORD F350 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2021 FORD F350 was listed at IAAI as lot 42847170 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
