Question 1

Was $48,000 a good price for this 2020 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

617 comparable 2020 FORD F350 listings sold at auction for a median of $11,650, spanning $4,850 to $23,500. At $48,000 this one went 312% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F350 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD F350's pre-damage retail value at $99,435. It sold for $48,000 — 52% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD F350 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This FORD F350 has vandalism and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 81,175 miles high for a 2020 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 115,551 miles across 617 sales, so at 81,175 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this FORD F350 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in AB - NISKU. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
