Question 1

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2016 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

584 comparable 2016 FORD F350 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $3,550 to $14,200. At $3,050 this one went 54% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F350 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD F350's pre-damage retail value at $8,320. It sold for $3,050 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F350 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F350 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 153,336 miles high for a 2016 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 151,926 miles across 584 sales, so at 153,336 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2016 FORD F350 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with vandalism damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
