Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 FORD F350 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD F350 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $12,300, from $4,550 to $24,000. That is 37% above the $9,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,250 a good price for this 2018 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

479 comparable 2018 FORD F350 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $4,350 to $19,100. At $17,250 this one went 92% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F350 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F350 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - LUBBOCK. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clear-tx mean for this FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD F350 was sold on a clear-tx. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 131,429 miles high for a 2018 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 145,128 miles across 479 sales, so at 131,429 miles this one sits 9% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
