Question 1

What do unknown 2017 FORD F350 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F350 with unknown damage, the median was $8,175, from $5,100 to $12,250. That is 11% below the $9,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,000 a good price for this 2017 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

981 comparable 2017 FORD F350 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,200, spanning $4,050 to $17,700. At $11,000 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F350 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F350 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NM - EL PASO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 750 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 146,715 miles high for a 2017 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 159,770 miles across 981 sales, so at 146,715 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
