Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 FORD F350 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F350 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $8,850, from $4,500 to $20,000. That is 33% above the $6,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,500 a good price for this 2016 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

589 comparable 2016 FORD F350 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,650, spanning $3,550 to $14,200. At $9,500 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F350 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F350 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NV - NORTH LAS VEGAS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 219,523 miles high for a 2016 FORD F350?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F350 listings at auction averaged 151,864 miles across 589 sales, so at 219,523 miles this one sits 45% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1FD8W3H6XGEB86778?

Accepted Answer

1FD8W3H6XGEB86778 identifies this specific 2016 FORD F350, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
