Question 1

What do side 2018 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 79 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD F250 with side damage, the median was $8,275, from $4,150 to $17,400. That is 6% below the $8,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,400 a good price for this 2018 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

948 comparable 2018 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $4,150 to $19,000. At $14,400 this one went 64% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WV - HURRICANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD F250. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD F250 has side and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 150,153 miles high for a 2018 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 141,718 miles across 948 sales, so at 150,153 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
