Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 146 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $12,750, from $4,700 to $23,400. That is 47% above the $8,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,250 a good price for this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

1906 comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,650, spanning $4,150 to $18,000. At $12,250 this one went 42% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F250 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - BATON ROUGE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clear mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 114,676 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,545 miles across 1906 sales, so at 114,676 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
