Question 1

What do burn - engine 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with burn - engine damage, the median was $5,650, from $3,250 to $13,700. That is 35% below the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,700 a good price for this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

1907 comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,150 to $18,000. At $17,700 this one went 103% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F250 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F250's pre-damage retail value at $51,412. It sold for $17,700 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 58,158 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,453 miles across 1907 sales, so at 58,158 miles this one sits 62% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD F250 has burn - engine and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
