Question 1

What do hail 2018 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD F250 with hail damage, the median was $18,150, from $8,400 to $25,000. That is 104% above the $8,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2018 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

992 comparable 2018 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,900, spanning $4,200 to $19,575. At $6,100 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD F250 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MN - RICE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This FORD F250 has hail and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 188,052 miles high for a 2018 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 140,147 miles across 992 sales, so at 188,052 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
