This FORD F250 sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Is 179,190 miles high for a 2018 FORD F250?

Comparable 2018 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 141,670 miles across 945 sales, so at 179,190 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
