Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 639 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with front end damage, the median was $8,300, from $4,100 to $17,400. That is 3% below the $8,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

1923 comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,600, spanning $4,150 to $17,900. At $4,550 this one went 47% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 68,095 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,517 miles across 1923 sales, so at 68,095 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD F250 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
