Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 43 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with front & rear damage, the median was $7,538, from $4,050 to $14,000. That is 13% below the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

1856 comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,150 to $17,850. At $7,200 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 155,138 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,951 miles across 1856 sales, so at 155,138 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F250. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD F250 has front & rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
