Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 142 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $12,250, from $4,700 to $20,850. That is 42% above the $8,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - BAY POINT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 120,953 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,654 miles across 1882 sales, so at 120,953 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was WHEELS INC. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD F250 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
