Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 135 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $11,525, from $4,550 to $20,850. That is 34% above the $8,625 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AL - BESSEMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This FORD F250 has normal wear & tear and repossession damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 246,114 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,921 miles across 1851 sales, so at 246,114 miles this one sits 61% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was TITLEMAX. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
