Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 FORD F250 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 141 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F250 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $12,675, from $4,650 to $19,825. That is 95% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,875 a good price for this 2016 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

1073 comparable 2016 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,500, spanning $3,475 to $14,625. At $12,875 this one went 98% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F250 was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in UT - OGDEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD F250. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 25,840 miles high for a 2016 FORD F250?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 139,842 miles across 1073 sales, so at 25,840 miles this one sits 82% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
