Question 1

What do roof 2020 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD F-150 with roof damage, the median was $9,050, from $6,000 to $14,000. That is 13% above the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,750 a good price for this 2020 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

5451 comparable 2020 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,300 to $14,900. At $14,750 this one went 84% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MA - SHIRLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD F-150 has roof and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 70,401 miles high for a 2020 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 96,266 miles across 5451 sales, so at 70,401 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
