Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2501 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,600 to $10,300. That is 6% below the $6,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,950 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6132 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,700 to $11,750. At $5,950 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 121,306 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 130,861 miles across 6132 sales, so at 121,306 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD F-150 has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
