Question 1

What do front end 2016 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2926 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,450 to $8,000. That is 5% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,850 a good price for this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7037 comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $8,750. At $5,850 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F-150 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - ODESSA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 84,266 miles high for a 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 139,828 miles across 7037 sales, so at 84,266 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ELEMENT FLEET MANAGEMENT. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
