Question 1

What do left rear 2016 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 79 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F-150 with left rear damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,750 to $8,700. That is 9% above the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,400 a good price for this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7401 comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,500 to $8,700. At $7,400 this one went 37% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-co mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage-co. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CO - COMMERCE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 84,475 miles high for a 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 140,146 miles across 7401 sales, so at 84,475 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
