Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 262 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $9,000, from $4,450 to $18,250. That is 45% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $15,975 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6421 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,700 to $11,750. At $15,975 this one went 158% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CO - COLORADO SPRINGS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 37,394 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 131,257 miles across 6421 sales, so at 37,394 miles this one sits 72% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
