Question 1

What do front end 2021 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2386 recorded sales of the 2021 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $9,300, from $4,650 to $16,300. That is 8% below the $10,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2021 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

5198 comparable 2021 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $10,100, spanning $5,000 to $18,200. At $7,100 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 42,953 miles high for a 2021 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 81,900 miles across 5198 sales, so at 42,953 miles this one sits 48% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2021 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GEICO. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
