Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 420 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD F-150 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $10,150, from $4,450 to $19,250. That is 46% above the $6,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,250 a good price for this 2018 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

11034 comparable 2018 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,950, spanning $3,950 to $12,800. At $13,250 this one went 91% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - JEFFERSONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 121,670 miles high for a 2018 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 121,441 miles across 11034 sales, so at 121,670 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 FORD F-150 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 FORD F-150 was listed at IAAI as lot 42774311 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
