Question 1

What do unknown 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 62 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with unknown damage, the median was $6,200, from $3,550 to $11,650. That is 1% below the $6,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,275 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6160 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,250, spanning $3,675 to $11,750. At $3,275 this one went 48% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CASTLE HAYNE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 145,799 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 130,916 miles across 6160 sales, so at 145,799 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD F-150 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
