Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 187 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F-150 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,350 to $11,850. That is 16% above the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,750 a good price for this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7401 comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,500 to $8,700. At $13,750 this one went 155% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

Is 103,741 miles high for a 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 140,146 miles across 7401 sales, so at 103,741 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does a clear-hi mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F-150 was sold on a clear-hi. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Where was this FORD F-150 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in HI - HONOLULU. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
