Question 1

What does a salvage mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MONTICELLO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 36,500 miles high for a 2021 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 82,015 miles across 5224 sales, so at 36,500 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2021 FORD F-150 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with total burn damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1FTFW1ED3MFB70852?

Accepted Answer

1FTFW1ED3MFB70852 identifies this specific 2021 FORD F-150 in black with a 3.5l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 400hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
