Question 1

What do roof 2020 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD F-150 with roof damage, the median was $9,625, from $7,100 to $14,150. That is 20% above the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,425 a good price for this 2020 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

5221 comparable 2020 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,300 to $14,900. At $4,425 this one went 45% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage-la mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage-la. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - LAFAYETTE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
