Question 1

What do front end 2016 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3068 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,450 to $8,000. That is 4% below the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,350 a good price for this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7426 comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,500 to $8,700. At $7,350 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 69,758 miles high for a 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 140,137 miles across 7426 sales, so at 69,758 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
