Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 50 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD F-150 with water/flood damage, the median was $6,950, from $3,950 to $14,600. That is 13% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2020 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

5209 comparable 2020 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,300 to $14,900. At $5,500 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $27,107. It sold for $5,500 — 80% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in SC - SPARTANBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 75,350 miles high for a 2020 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 95,486 miles across 5209 sales, so at 75,350 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
