Question 1

What do side 2019 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 823 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD F-150 with side damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,450 to $12,800. That is 5% above the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $15,800 a good price for this 2019 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7667 comparable 2019 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,050 to $13,600. At $15,800 this one went 116% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $43,545. It sold for $15,800 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD F-150. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD F-150 has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 121,414 miles high for a 2019 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 109,461 miles across 7667 sales, so at 121,414 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
