Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2572 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,600 to $10,200. That is 6% below the $6,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6337 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,250, spanning $3,700 to $11,800. At $3,200 this one went 49% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $9,723. It sold for $3,200 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

This FORD F-150 has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 251,901 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 131,222 miles across 6337 sales, so at 251,901 miles this one sits 92% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
