Question 1

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This FORD F-150 has roll over and roof damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 125,090 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 130,861 miles across 6132 sales, so at 125,090 miles this one sits 4% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 FORD F-150 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with roll over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1FTEW1EG5HFC46535?

Accepted Answer

1FTEW1EG5HFC46535 identifies this specific 2017 FORD F-150 in red with a 3.5l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 375hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
