Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2511 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,600 to $10,300. That is 6% below the $6,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6160 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,250, spanning $3,675 to $11,750. At $8,700 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $23,374. It sold for $8,700 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 108,625 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 130,916 miles across 6160 sales, so at 108,625 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD F-150. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
