Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2649 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,600 to $10,200. That is 5% below the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

6511 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,700 to $11,700. At $7,800 this one went 26% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $21,566. It sold for $7,800 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This FORD F-150 has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 100,674 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 131,467 miles across 6511 sales, so at 100,674 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - HOMESTEAD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
