What do minor dent/scratches 2017 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Across 242 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F-150 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $7,200, from $4,000 to $14,900. That is 16% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $13,400 a good price for this 2017 FORD F-150?

6511 comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,700 to $11,700. At $13,400 this one went 116% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F-150 sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F-150's pre-damage retail value at $41,586. It sold for $13,400 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F-150?

This 2017 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

This FORD F-150 has minor dent/scratches and water/flood damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 138,670 miles high for a 2017 FORD F-150?

Comparable 2017 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 131,467 miles across 6511 sales, so at 138,670 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
