Question 1

What do rear end 2016 FORD F-150 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 664 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F-150 with rear end damage, the median was $5,800, from $3,700 to $8,900. That is 5% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,050 a good price for this 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

7055 comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $8,750. At $4,050 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD F-150 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD F-150 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MN - AVON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD F-150. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 176,517 miles high for a 2016 FORD F-150?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD F-150 listings at auction averaged 139,811 miles across 7055 sales, so at 176,517 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
