Question 1

What do front end 2020 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2100 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPLORER with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,775 to $9,200. That is 10% below the $6,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

4837 comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,550, spanning $4,000 to $10,900. At $4,900 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $20,025. It sold for $4,900 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD EXPLORER has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
