Question 1

What do mechanical 2019 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPLORER with mechanical damage, the median was $4,775, from $3,700 to $6,100. That is 4% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

1617 comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,250 to $7,600. At $6,100 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $19,850. It sold for $6,100 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in VA - CHARLES CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 103,667 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 92,304 miles across 1617 sales, so at 103,667 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
