Question 1

What do hail 2019 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 80 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPLORER with hail damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,600 to $9,700. That is 33% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

1617 comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,250 to $7,600. At $4,700 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OK - OKLAHOMA CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 450 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$550, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 125,974 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 92,304 miles across 1617 sales, so at 125,974 miles this one sits 36% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
