What do mechanical 2016 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPLORER with mechanical damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $4,450. That is 8% below the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

This 2016 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in MS - FLORENCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EXPLORER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 167,230 miles high for a 2016 FORD EXPLORER?

Comparable 2016 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 118,465 miles across 2575 sales, so at 167,230 miles this one sits 41% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Did this 2016 FORD EXPLORER come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
