Question 1

What do rear end 2019 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 217 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPLORER with rear end damage, the median was $4,725, from $3,500 to $7,900. That is 3% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,650 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

1613 comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,250 to $7,600. At $4,650 this one went 1% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $16,817. It sold for $4,650 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LOUISVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 106,477 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 92,356 miles across 1613 sales, so at 106,477 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.
