What do rear end 2016 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 317 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPLORER with rear end damage, the median was $3,825, from $3,100 to $5,300. That is 1% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,400 a good price for this 2016 FORD EXPLORER?

2551 comparable 2016 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,600. At $4,400 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $12,982. It sold for $4,400 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Is 115,201 miles high for a 2016 FORD EXPLORER?

Comparable 2016 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 118,533 miles across 2551 sales, so at 115,201 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EXPLORER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

This 2016 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.
