What do all over 2023 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 56 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD EXPLORER with all over damage, the median was $6,600, from $3,350 to $13,000. That is 30% below the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,150 a good price for this 2023 FORD EXPLORER?

2692 comparable 2023 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $4,700 to $16,600. At $3,150 this one went 66% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $37,989. It sold for $3,150 — 92% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

This 2023 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD EXPLORER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 9,443 miles high for a 2023 FORD EXPLORER?

Comparable 2023 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 40,255 miles across 2692 sales, so at 9,443 miles this one sits 77% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
