What do side 2020 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 474 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPLORER with side damage, the median was $6,700, from $4,100 to $10,700. That is 3% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $10,600 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

5108 comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,500, spanning $4,000 to $10,900. At $10,600 this one went 63% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This FORD EXPLORER sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $34,627. It sold for $10,600 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Where was this FORD EXPLORER located?

The lot was held at COPART in AK - ANCHORAGE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
