What do front end 2022 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 1482 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EXPLORER with front end damage, the median was $7,800, from $4,200 to $12,800. That is 8% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $10,500 a good price for this 2022 FORD EXPLORER?

3455 comparable 2022 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,550 to $14,200. At $10,500 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

The insurer put this 2022 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $27,002. It sold for $10,500 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD EXPLORER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

This 2022 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 11,101 miles high for a 2022 FORD EXPLORER?

Comparable 2022 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 56,364 miles across 3455 sales, so at 11,101 miles this one sits 80% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
