What do rear end 2020 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Across 612 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPLORER with rear end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,750 to $11,000. That is 12% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

5086 comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,500, spanning $4,000 to $10,900. At $6,600 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPLORER sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EXPLORER's pre-damage retail value at $21,958. It sold for $6,600 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

This 2020 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in SC - HARLEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 76,325 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 87,063 miles across 5086 sales, so at 76,325 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
