Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 106 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPLORER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,100 to $5,500. That is 3% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EXPLORER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WA - ARLINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EXPLORER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 164,782 miles high for a 2016 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 118,711 miles across 2519 sales, so at 164,782 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 FORD EXPLORER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD EXPLORER was listed at COPART as lot 62470756 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
